Moonrise

Watch

the moon rise

ignite the fireflies

its gradual ascent

beckons my soul’s undercurrents…

Diamond stars flicker and twinkle;

small reminders

I am a galaxy

my planes

know no gravity

I could fly

if ย I wanted to.
